ELWOOD JONES was raised in the Washington, DC area, where he attended T.C. Williams High School home of the Titans (Remember the Titans) in Alexandria, Virginia.  He played in numerous music groups in the 1970's and 1980's before accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1984.  In 1987, he toured international with Living Sound of Terry Law Ministries. The group toured to over 13 different countries and all over the United States and Canada.  While traveling with the ministry, Elwood had a vision to take the gospel to the streets in the urban areas.  In 1991, Elwood founded Urban Street Level (USL).  He has worked over 20 years as a youth worker and minister.  Presently, Elwood is the County Director of Young Life in Prince Georges County, Maryland and the Music Director of South Point Church, located in St. Mary's County, Maryland.  Elwood's mission is to connect the heart of man to the heart of God through praise and worship and to creatively win people to Jesus Christ.  He is married to Betty Jones and they have two sons.   Listen to Elwood's Message.           BETTY JONES was born in Louisville, Kentucky and was raised in Los Angeles, California.  Betty is the Co-Founder of Urban Street Level. She moved from LA in the middle 80's and began singing and leading worship at Harvest Church International in Mount Rainer, Maryland. On December 10, 1988, she married Elwood Jones. Betty and her husband moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she began teaching and training youth and music ministries around the country.  Betty and her husband have ministered together in music for over 15 years.  Presently, she is the Praise and Worship Leader and the Design Coordinator at South Point Church located in St. Mary's County, Maryland. Betty speaks and teaches all over the United States on relevant church and youth programs.  She is currently writing training materials to enhance youth groups and praise and worship ministries. Betty is also a consultant/authorized provider of The American Red Cross Association's teaching and training program for First Aid & CPR.
